Hi, Scott Valdez here. I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself, since many of you are probably thinking: "So who's behind this business?"

I never had a particularly hard time meeting women but, in 2008, my on-the-go lifestyle as a busy sales and marketing exec was making it tough for me to play the dating game.

Previously, during my college years, I had met a handful of amazing girls on Facebook, and ended up in a serious long-term relationship with one of them. When that relationship ended after over two years, the internet was an obvious place to go to meet new people - and it has always remained a big component of my overall dating strategy.

At some point in my career, filtering through endless profiles and juggling online dating communications started to feel like a part time job - and my workload, social life, and staying active took priority over browsing online dating sites for hours at a time.

Always a fan of outsourcing, I hired an assistant and taught him everything I knew about evoking emotion, generating responses and building enough attraction online to take things offline and in person. Armed with my training and a good understanding of my taste in women, he was able to handle my online dating accounts with minimal support from me. While I was working on sales deals, rolling out marketing campaigns, traveling, and meeting people out and about, he was setting me up on dates through a handful of my favorite sites.

A few months, endless inquiries from friends and colleagues about the progress of my 'experiment', and 18 amazing dates later, it dawned on me… There must be a demand for such a service. This led me to create Virtual Dating Assistants.

Since then, ViDA has helped hundreds of singles find love online. I love the opportunity to make our client's dating life easier and more rewarding – and nothing makes me happier than helping others find the date of their dreams.

Some people ask me "What makes you qualified to help people with online dating and give advice?" Most people are waiting for a Ph.D. in psychology or communication, but the real question is… Do you really think that good dating advice really has very much to do with a degree?

I've spent a ton of time in the trenches, made all of the mistakes, met countless women online (and offline), and been in healthy relationships. I've always been fascinated by human connection and the ways people interact, and love learning about human psychology and social dynamics.

But the most important thing to remember is that dating is my life and my career (and that of the members of my team with whom I interact on a daily basis). I dedicate well over 40 hours per week to helping our team find great dates for our diverse clientele. And when I say diverse, I mean really diverse: short men, bald men, overweight women, Asian guys only interested in Caucasian women, Caucasian men interested in meeting women in Russia, attractive women with bigger checklists than you can imagine, 27 year olds, 67 year olds, etc… I've personally been involved with hundreds (if not thousands) of online dating success stories.

My successes online are no secret. Recently, AOL's Asylum.com wrote "Scott Valdez can attract hundreds of women each month in his boxers." Usually, I put on pajamas.
